Fast Times Screen Printing:
A simple dream captured by a complex man. Tony Medvetz, known to his friends and proteges as "Bossman," was an anxious, young business major fresh out of college. Reluctant to fall victim to the man, "Bossman" created a business of his own in the confined working space of his parents' garage. After quickly learning the nuts and bolts of the printing industry, Medvetz was able to open a workshop located just off the campus of restless IUP (Otherwise known as the nation's top party school, for those unfortunate). Fast Times became a hit seemingly overnight as Indiana's favorite graphic printing manufacturer.
Medvetz was set for life; however, times grew hard. His work load was ever growing and he needed an ambitious youngster's help, an apprentice, if you will. Eager and handsome, "Johnny Boy" John Brennan was offered the job upon placing an order for his local fraternity's fall rush event. "Johnny Boy" was willing but lacked in age and experience. That is until "Bossman" took him under his wing and made him into the successful, grown bachelor he is today. Fast Times Screen Printing was started by Tony "Bossman" Medvetz a young go getter fresh out of college not quite ready to start working for the man. He started out printing small orders for Fraternities, Sororities and other local businesses out of the confines of his Uncle Joes garage. After a few years of learning the ins and outs of the printing industry "Bossman" was able to open a shop on his own just off of the campus of a state school in Pa.(IUP for those who are familiar with the terrain.) Here "Bossman" established Fast Times local leader in the graphics industry and through networking was able to set up a few national markets.
Fast Forward to late 2003 a young ambitious and extremely good looking fellow named Johnny "Johnny Boy" Brennan (you readers may know him as your narrator) was offered a job upon placing an order for his local fraternities fall rush event. Over the next few years "Bossman" took "Johnny Boy" under his wing. Advised by his strict toutelage "Johnny Boy" learned the grueling lifestyle and aggressive marketing techniques of a "Punk" Screen Printer. In the Summer of 2008 "Bossman" and "Johnny Boy" bought out a local Sign Shop and added the sign making experience to the shops repetoir. This is where we are If you want to know anything else just ask we'll tell.
